About us

The idea about a regional CSR center with focus on children was formed in 2008 as a result on a Memorandum of Understanding on Corporate Social Responsibility between Sweden and China. Save the Children Sweden was appointed with the task to explore possibilities for such a center.  Over one year of preparation to understand the China context and expectations from the corporate sector finally led to a decision to create the regional non-profit member based company. Due to its origin it should be  closely linked to Save the Children Sweden.

After the initial feasibility study a business plan was drafted with specific focuses on what services the center should deliver to customers and what role to play.

Our mission is to achieve permanent improvements in children’s lives. We do so by facilitating collaboration between all parts of society that can help bring about the necessary changes, and by helping businesses respect and promote child-rights.

CCR CSR offers a platform and and opportunities for businesses with a will to influence and change the future in the best interest of the child through our leadership and advisory services. CCR CSR is a meeting point, combining child rights and CSR to support our partners and customers with a sustainable business growth.

Our work is based on experience, close cooperation with academic Institutions, thorough research and analysis. We do capacity building and organize training opportunities, facilitate networks and give advice and face-to-face consultancy services.
