    Financial Times have produced a short film interviewing two young migrant workers in Beijing about their future in the city. This new generation of workers are unwilling to go for the "dirty and dangerous" jobs in the cities, unwilling to return to their hometowns but are not earning enough to see a future for themselves staying. 

    "Liu Lingfei, 27, originally from northern Hebei province, has lived in Beijing for three years. While her parents are peasant farmers, she has a university degree and works as an accountant for a Beijing pizza delivery company."

    An estimated 16 000 companies in India will fall within the new Companies Act´s ambit to spend 2% of their profits on CSR according to the article Utilise CSR for social change and brand-building published in India Times on March 31 2014. The Act and its Rules should be of interest to all companies as they apply to both Indian companies as well as foreign companies doing business in India. The new Act specifies that a company must set up a board committee to oversee CSR with at least one independent director on it.
